Male's opponents have a total combined record of 32-26. That includes (IMO) a pretty darn good Trinity win and wins over St. X, Butler (6-2), Meade County (6-2) and Floyd Central, IN (who is 7-2). Males has played one 5A team, J-town. Bowling Green (5A) has defeated 6A St. X (5-4) and 4A Owensboro (6-2). The McCallie team from TN is (3-5).

Both teams have played winless teams but (IMO) Fairdale is much better than Logan County.

A win for Male over Manual would add a nice W to the list. In a couple weeks BG plays 3A Blackman, TN who must be doing something right as they are 7-0.

You probably have a good point. Male is good this year, better than T or X. But beating a team twice in the same season often times requires you to be quite a bit better then that team to get over the revenge factor and I am not sure there is that much seperation between Male and Trinity or X to do that. I do hope T gets another chance at Male and if Male wins, I will be the first to admit they are noticably better than T.

 

I do like this parity in 6A forming with Male beating T and X and Scott Co and Simon Kenton look like they are past the days where T and X would beat them by multiple touch downs and may be at the point of giving T or X a scare and possibly a loss.

I still believe a Louisville team takes the ring. 6A is just more competitive this year than recent years.

I think the only teams doing it all belong to the same district. As I stated many weeks ago, BG is the best team in the state, but that's not saying one of the top teams wouldn't beat them if more than one game was played.
