Well, that was a short lived stay at the top! I witnessed the Manual tussle. The Crimsons made some serious $$$$ tonight.

I think the only teams doing it all belong to the same district. As I stated many weeks ago, BG is the best team in the state, but that's not saying one of the top teams wouldn't beat them if more than one game was played.

 

I think some people might be surprised at McCracken and if they were to happen to win 6A, I'm gonna declare Mayfield as the best team in KY:dancingpa

Wasn't saying they couldn't win. I was saying, the only teams doing it are in district 4. You also said they were the best team in the state, which they're not.

This was just a response to your "8 ball" comment, being one of the answers typically shown in the 8 ball. If I had to vote for the best team, it would be among BG, Highlands and Scott County.

I don't see it happening. CovCath drives 4.5 hrs to Henderson Co. and wins 18-0. Might I also add with a backup qb, rb, wr, ot, and lb..Didn't McCracken only beat Henderson by 14pts? McCracken has zero chance of winning 6a this year imo.. Just a reminder Highlands beat CovCath 42-6...Just sayin! :thumb:

Why because they beat X? I personally think there are 4 or 5 teams that could beat anybody on any given night and BG is one of them..

You're doing nothing but reiterating what I've already said. But not because they beat X but how they looked when they beat X compared to when the other top teams played X.

I know a top team that hasn't played X this year..:thumb: Everybody goes off of the Highlands and Trinity scrimmage at the beginning of the year. Highlands has improved tremendously throughout the year and Trinity seems to have regressed. I am obviously a homer but I think the Birds are playing as good as anyone in the state right now..

Whose to say they regressed? Who they are now, they could've been the same team in that scrimmage. Poor secondary play, good coaching, and a good Qb.

 

I'm not saying Highlands isn't a top team, but they aren't thee top team based on that T scrimmage and yesterday's game alone( since you highlands folk like comparative scores so much).

At the beginning of the year I thought X was going to be the best team in the state.. Obviously things change over the course of a season, some teams get better and some don't. It is just the nature of the game. Go and ask a Trinity homer and see what they say about their team.

When given the opportunity( T scrimmage, and Elder game) they didn't prevail. Also as far as asking a T homer, they firmly believe they won't lose a game in KY. Or shall I say wouldn't :lol:.
