Over the past three years, Cov Cath is the best team in N. Ky. besides Highlands. Isn't that recent history?

 

How do you come to that conclusion?

 

Wouldn't that mean they'd have to beat everyone (except Highlands) in the area?

Last year alone they were 4th at best.

2. Cooper

3. Conner

4. Cov Cath

That is my point, to make a claim they have been the 2nd best team in the area the last 3 years, well you better beat the teams you are supposed to beat then, if not it's just words and that doesn't carry much clout.

 

 

If that were the case I could say Cooper is the best team in the State, just because they lost games doesn't matter, they are the best.

Was Cov Cath the 2nd best team in NKY last year? Nope. They were good, but not that good.

Is Cov Cath the 2nd best team in NKY this year? Nope. I'd put a couple in front of them and I'd start with Simon Kenton.

 

It isn't hard to find teams better than CCH the last 2 years (including this year) but I will repepat, they have been the most consistently good team in the area behind Highlands. that doesn't mean they aren't good, it means they are good but maybe not the best team behind HHS. That isn't a jab at CCH at all, it's just facts.

You don't get it. I have posted several times trying to explain it. I don't want to continue this discussion in this thread because we are off track. If you want to discuss it further, open a new thread and I will try to explain the difference between evaluating based on one individual year and three cumulative years.

I will put it this way. Since CCH's State Title in 2006, they have only had 2 winning seasons. This year could be their 3rd. So out of 7 years only 3 winning seasons. I'll leave it at that.

Thats good, I didn't know and really didn't care, was just giving VOR the benefit of the doubt since earlier someone said they were in different classes. That makes my point even better. CCH's best era was 87-97 and HHS was in the same class. Case closed, point proved :ylsuper:
