October 13, 201313 yr I thought the defense played great in the first half of the game. As I've said before though the defense will not last 4 quarters without having an offense that can keep them off the field.

As I've said before though the defense will not last 4 quarters without having an offense that can keep them off the field. UK did not get any pressure on the QB the entire game, he had all day to throw. They did play ok as a unit until late in the half, but ran out of gas.
October 13, 201313 yr This one went about the way that I thought. After starting slow, not focused Bama took a t/o - Saban ripped a couple if kids and they woke up quick. This one showed just how far that the Cats have to go and no one should expect a quik couple of seasons fix. Again .....The big positive that I saw was that this U.K. Football team did not quit, they played hard all throughout the game. I personally don't like the offense ran but I am not a coach and I am veryconfident that the coaches know far more about it than I :lol2:. Should the Cats not get the starting qb back, and the injury looked bad, things will get alot worse. jmo GO BIG BLUE !

October 13, 201313 yr No QB play and 372 first half yards by Bama. Fun atmosphere early though. Beautiful night for a ballgame. Bama fans were loud and everywhere.
October 13, 201313 yr Could've been a lot worse. Bama fumbled twice in the red zone and dropped numerous passes, of whcih I think at least two would've gone for TD's. Losing Whitlow, I'm sure, turned UK's offensive game plan upside down. Those Bama backs run awfully hard.
October 13, 201313 yr Don't know how anyone can't be a fan of Bama. The way they play is unreal to me for a college team. They are so business like in their approach it's really fun to watch. First time I've ever seen them in person and they are a machine, 2-3 deep at every position. Bama has won this UK fan over.
October 13, 201313 yr Alabama Larry watched this with God, and his heaven is even "heavenlier" today. In his honor....ROLL TIDE!
