I heard the rule changed this year to be like the old NFL rule. Although it doesn't matter because he got both feet in anyway, even witnessed by the games photographer.

Rule is if he's pushed out of bounds it's no catch. If his momentum is NOT carrying him towards the sideline but he's caught and then carried out of bounds it's a catch.

Thank you...his momentum was not carrying him out of bounds, he went straight up for the ball came down as he was being hit both toes tapped in bounds and was pushed out of bounds. Thanks Clyde, I didn't know of the rule and was told of it tonight.

Congrats to the Eagles. One win away from a school record for wins.

As weak as 5A is this year, on a whole and especially on the east side, wouldn't surprise me at all to Scott, Conner, S.Oldham or Cooper get hot and come out of the east side. I initially thought Harlan Co may be the team to beat on that side, but, after the last few weeks, they've been somewhat exposed and I think the NKy district has as good a shot as anyone. Pulaski Co and Franklin Co may have something to say about it, but, I think these 4 teams are as strong as anyone.

Congrats to the Eagles. They've had many rough years, but now it's time to enjoy the ride. Good luck moving forward.

I still think Coopers play calling at the end on the first and goal from the 5 wasnt the greatest. I feel if they would have mixed it up a little instead of four straight passes they could have scored. There was still a little over a minute left in the game at the time.

Congrats to the Eagles. Look forward to all KC schools playing each other again.

Scott clinched their first winning season since.... 1990! I am old and that was only 10 years removed from me playing.

Congrats to the staff and players.

Were you at the game?

Were you at the game?

No, sir. Didn't land at CVG in time to see any games.

It was a very good game. Very entertaining to say the least. Both teams played their hearts out. Thought it would be a long night when Scott went up 14-0 in the first 6 mins, but Cooper fought back to tie it up and from there it seemed like whoever had the ball last would win.

If you told me at the beginning of the year that Scott and SK would both start off 6-0, I'd say maybe SK has a shot but SCOTT???? Amazing. Good for you guys. Enjoy it. Keep it up.

Congrats to Scott. Hope the school and community enjoys the ride this season. With Cooper's young d-line they will struggle stopping the Run. One thing about Cooper, they have been in all their games and shot themselves in the foot with the exception of the SK game.

I agree with you. I think the 5A team who makes it out of the Cooper/Scott/Cooner/S.Oldham district has a real shot at going to Bowling Green.
