The Bengals are a 2pt home underdog, do you agree?

I am thinking the powers that be had to make the Packers a favorite.

Thoughts? Agree? Disagree?

And for the record I don't gamble on NFL games but I do find the betting lines very interesting.

Why would the powers that be have to make the Packers a favorite? I don't understand that comment?

Because the Packers are better than the Bengals. They have to be the favorite.

When a betting line is set, I don't think they are making a prediction on the game. They are making a prediction on what the betting public thinks about the game and they are trying to drive betting action. I always look at betting lines as public opinion polls. I am not a bettor.

I do gamble on the NFL and will take that action A L L D A Y L O N G! The Packers are going to put up more than the Bears and Steelers combined and the Bengals will be lucky to answer with their usual 20/21 pts. High school ball Friday night, JV Saturday morning, a wee bit of Oktoberfest Zinzinnati that afternoon and then going to the game with friends from Cincy and family from Wisconsin on Sunday so this is going to be a great weekend! Liver beware.

I think it should be 6 1/2.

Go Pack Go! GB by 14. 2 points seems really low after watching the Bengals last night.

Do I agree? Absolutely not. The Pack should be at least a -5 in this one. If the Bengals can keep it within a TD, I'll be shocked.

The Packers are better & I don't disagree at all with them being favored.

Having said that, I think the Bengals win for some reason.

That the Packers are only favored by two is a good sign for the Bengals.

Papa will be sporting orange & black; daughter green and gold.

I think the folks that set the line were too kind to the Bengals. I don't see the Bengals secondary slowing anyone down. I'd pick packers by 10

This is the worst matchup for the Bengals other than the Broncos and probably the Saints in the league. Teams that can score 30 every time out will be tough on them. They just are not consistent enough offensively yet to keep up. The only way I see the Bengals winning is getting some cheap points on turnovers or Special Teams. Their defense isn't quite where it will be by season's end. Zimmer's defenses usually get better as the season progresses. The packers defense is not as bad as last year but still not very good. The Bengals will need to score 35 to win. I haven't seen that yet. On a side note, I think the 49ers and Seahawks are the best teams in the NFL, but the Bengals would fare better against their type of games.

They slowed the Steelers down last night, only giving up 120 yards midway through the 4th Quarter, so that is someone. :D
