How many texts did you send/receive last month?

Featured Replies

I had AT&T shut off my texting two years ago.

An 8 year old has no one to send texts to anyway, and moms prefer scolding face to face.

Wow! Impressive.

Well you about 8 or 9 years before you are a teenager. :lol2:

50-60. While texting is a necessary evil these days, it is only for short communications, as far as I am concerned. A text conversation should only be two texts long, one to the recipient and one from. If a conversation requires more than two texts it should be done by phone call. Some people forget that you can make phone calls on a cell phone. I would much rather get a phone call than a text.

I'm in the 500-700 range. My daughter when she first got a phone in 8th grade had a month where she had over 13,000 texts one month.

It is so annoying when I get interrupted with silly texts while I'm involved in important matters on BGP. :lol2:

5000-6000 every month. Easy.

If I want to converse with my kids texting is what I have to do. I think they must hate my voice.

Are you not on unlimited texting?

I am just talking about compiling numbers.

I don't like enough people to accrue multiple 1000s of texts.

I don't even look anymore since I went to unlimited text and data. It's definitely more than the 1,000 per month it was trending toward before I went unlimited.

About 200 for me. My daughter had over 14,000 a couple of years ago. Thanks God for unlimited.

Between 1-2 thousand depends on what time of year

Between coaching 1 HS team and coordinating a youth league, it's just easier to text. Now if it's a serious issue...they'll get a call.

My own kids...a call/FaceTime every day.

If I ever go over 100 texts, I will turn it off. Texting annoys me. It is a necessary evil that I do as little as possible. If I need to text more than 5 words, I either call or just don't send the message.
