Reds @ Cardinals August 26th - 28th

I don't think it was hit hard enough. Pretty pathetic to not have your head in the game at that point.

For a second last night, I was thinking that the Card on third might make a dash for the plate when Votto was jogging the ball toward the Reds dugout with his head down, thinking it was three outs and not two. Didn't Marty used to jump Junior about lolly gagging? I was watching the game on TV, so I didn't hear the radio analysis of what happened.

Choo with a leadoff infield hit and nearly makes another baserunning gaffe.

If you make a mistake against St Louis they make you pay for it over and over again. If you make a mistake against the Reds, there's a good chance it won't matter. Sports 101...

And there it is. Just flat out ignorant baseball once again...

Maybe the dumbest team in the history of MLB. Can't hit with runners in scoring position. Can't hit behind runners. Clueless on the base paths. Fundamentally just a very bad team

Berry should've sent Bruce. Stats say Choo wasn't going to get a hit there since he already had a hit and it would have been his 3rd AB.

Can't believe he wasn't sent home.

Stats say Choo gets on base over 40% of the time and is on pace for 5 ABs...

But it was his 3rd AB. What if he gets hurt? He may not get that AB. You can't guess. He's not a .333 hitter and that's all that mattered at that time.

Eye test says he was due a home run off a righty... :walk:
