August 23, 201313 yr I reffed a game once and as I was running by I heard the coach say "Come on, Clyde." I used to think my ID was not known but that ended quickly. Had it happen at a recent graduation party. Now I want to start going to games and just yelling C'mon Clyde at every ref I see until I finally hit the big one in my Clyde lottery.

When the schedules are released I will check to see if it is a Sunday night game. That would be a great double header. Hoops and the walking dead!

Know each other, but don't acknowledge that we know know each other: JustJim (But once he mentioned toffee...I knew he knew. :lol2:) Know who they are and I hope to someday do the "Lawnboy approach": Q and TAC Almost met, but I chickened out: Spindoc Facebook friends with Guru---but never met him. BGPers that I want to meet----so many! But I'm not going anywhere, so there is time! Well, that probably spoiled it for everybody else.

August 23, 201313 yr For record - 2 (PP92 and Plantman) that I know of. I probably met others last year on a cold November night in Ft. Thomas if they were hanging around at field level toward the visitor side.

PP92, we met briefly before the Boyle Co/Highlands game but regretfully we didn't really get to talk much. I'm not sure why, but I think Rebel was talking my ear off at the time, lol. Hopefully next time we run into each other we will have the time to hang out a little.
