Where and when is that game being played?

 

That game will be played on September 6th at St. X.

The Purples haven't won a game yet , the jury is still out. :sssh:

I'm glad to see any Ky team getting props. Hopefully the Purples don't disappoint. I guess the pressure is on in Week 1.

BG is for real the matchup with St.X should be one of if not the best game of the year!

I have a green team shirt w/ the bird on there from when I coached the 3rd and 4th grade green team. That's about as Highlands as it gets. My boys did draw up Bday cards for me this year. One had a big H on the front and the other had that stupid bird. It's going to be fun.

The only thing BG has on Lex Cath is 5A. Somehow if you're in a higher class' date=' you're deemed better by the establishment. If I recall, they barely scraped by Lex Cath last year when they were supposed to be super. Of all the teams posted, BG is the most overrated, IMO.[/quote']

 

The good thing about Bowling Green and LexCath is that we find out who is better week 1! Last year I really do feel the Knights beat themselves.

LexCath got up 7-0 early and that was their only lead of the game. BG was up 21-7 in the 2nd and an LC td made it 21-14 at the half. BG scored early in the 3rd to go up 28-14. LC scored again to make it 28-21 and then BG scored quickly to make it 35-21 which was the final score. BG was in control for over 90% of the game.

It would be nice to see three Kentucky teams in the top 100. I believe we have three, maybe four, legitimate top 100 teams this year.

I agree - rankings are still being updated. Just was confused with the Bowling Green at #24 that was posted on the web site and then looked at the details and figured it was a typo on the website.

I agree though, a whole bunch of chest thumping for this school and that school at at the end of the day out of 15,000 Highl Schools in America we got 3 in the top hundy...:thumb:
