June 21, 201313 yr Extremely interesting game. Not that well played as you could tell both teams left out on the court the game before. Kudos to LeBron for knocking down a slew of jumpers. San Antonio never wavered in how they defended the Heat, in particular LeBron. In fact, last night was a great example as to how you can still beat the Heat when James is on his game. For as great as LeBron is, his best attribute is his ability to distribute the ball and get others involved, especially the perimeter guys. So when San Antonio is letting James take uncontested jumpers all night, they are indirectly disrupting the flow of the Miami Heat because others are not getting involved. Now he was making his shots - in fact, it was the highest shooting performance of his Heat career outside of the paint - yet the game was still within two points when Duncan missed both of his bunnies, and the Spurs did not play all that great. I thought it would have been hilarious if David Stern had given the MVP trophy to Manu Ginobili.

But for the 6'8", 250-pound super-gifted freak athlete of our time to talk about how he wasn't even supposed to be there is like talking about what an underdog story it was for George W. Bush to get elected president.

June 21, 201313 yr Lebron is dealing with it. That's why he's won 2 championships, that's why he struggled his first year in Miami because he couldn't deal with it. During the Bulls series people said Lebron wasn't being tested and to wait for the Pacers, Pacers came and he got through them, then came the Spurs and after 1 game people started calling out Lebron saying he regressed and couldn't win again and that last season was a fluke. People say he couldn't be clutch in game 7 but yet he was. It's funny to see people complain about Lebron during the regular season, during the playoffs, during the finals, during his trophy talk, now they'll complain because he isn't playing enough basketball during the summer. When are people gonna realize he's a pretty decent basketball player, and not that bad of a person...:lol2:
