Just depends on how you voice your dislike. There's a lot of good players I don't really like, but who I still respect. I never really try to bad mouth them or anything. It seems as if Lebron in a lot of cases just gets non stop garbage talk from a lot of people.

 

Not liking him is one thing, constantly breaking down his every move and talking constant trash is what makes one a hater IMO.

Other than the "decision" though, what has Lebron really done to deserve all the criticism he has received over the years? Guys been hated on more than any athlete to ever play, and its not even close. People disect everything he does, everything he says, I mean its crazy how much criticism and pure hate that is directed at the guy.

People do not like how he handles himself and the defenders of his play through his career. It is as simple as that. The "Decision" just gave extra ammo for the rest of his career. The epitome of stupidness.

 

Personally I like the guy. I think he is a class dude, just not all that bright. Savvy, just not bright.

I don't hate him. I hated those comments and thought they were ridiculous. Gave up on LeBron hate a long time ago.

Calls himself "The Chosen One" and then isn't supposed to be there? Crap Crap and Double Crap.

 

But his team won, and that is cool. Not too shabby with an League MVP, Finals MVP, and Finals Championship.

 

I don't really care that he said that because it's petty and not a big deal but just reinforces why I hate him.

He still flops. He still cries about the refs too much. "The Decision" needs no explanation, it was that stupid. Comments like "I shouldn't have been here" are also stupid. He's not better than MJ, and not better than Kobe (yet). And he should have blocked Tiago Splitter like that.

 

The above few statements doesn't make me a hater. It makes me a person who can point out the few weaknesses in his game, and his personality, on and off the court. Being blinded by your love for an athlete or a team is just as bad as being a "hater."

I choose to cheer against him since the decision. Plain and simple. If he goes back to the Cavs then I'll reconsider, that's just my own "decision." Plus I always cheer against the bandwagon teams, those fans tick me off to no end.

The fact that they didn't start booing as soon as David Stern touched the mic last night showed that they aren't real fans. Supporters and ticket holders in real sports cities know that you boo the Commissioner at every available opportunity... in every sport... always.

Same here. I really really dislike him as a person and it causes me to not be able to cheer for him.

look, I didn't say it was a news flash. Just relaying what he meant by the comment.

Not only did I not say I agreed with the comment, I'll go a step farther and say if there are 6'9" 265 studs who never get out of the inner city, it's my stance that they never wanted to.

 

I am not a LeBron hater nor a LeBron groupie. I respect his game. You'd be a moron not to. But there are a handful of guys I prefer to watch. I do wish Duncan would have won another ring.
