June 21, 201313 yr It is not bias to say he is not on there level because he is not. MJ 6 for 6 in NBA finals 6 Finals MVPs. Lebron James 2 for 4 could have easily been 1 for 4. As for kerr "saving" jordan, kerr did make big shots but Jordan was not inconsistent like lebron was for not only this series but against the Pacers aswell.

The Heat lose that game and we spend the summer dissecting the two turnovers he had on consecutive possessions. Would that not be the media topic of discussion? Would he not be castigated for that?

How in the world was he inconsistent this series and the Pacers series? He carried the Heat all year, regualr season and playoffs. How is carrying a team inconsistent?

Totally agree. Just pointing out that MJ and Kobe were also bailed out. Some act as if they were the only ones on the floor.

He'll NEVER be considered better than Jordan. Just don't see it happening. I don't disagree. But that doesn't mean he isn't on his level. They both won their first championship at 28. Yes, Kobe won at 22 but he also had the most dominant player in the league with him. Kobe has also lost in the finals. I don't see much of a gap at all. There's a gap between Jordan and everyone else, and probably always will be.
