Kobe is 3rd or 4th in nearly every category when looking at career and playoff per game averages and Larry is in the top 2 in most of them. Not surprisingly Jordan is tops in most categories. Bird is actually #1 in season and playoff defensive rating...that shocked me!!!
June 21, 201313 yr Unfortunately, LeBron's actions off the court seem to always over shadow his greatness on. For example, his comments to the media in the locker room last night. Does he not expect the media to be in his face after game 7 of the NBA finals? Just saw that video. And while it doesn't particularly bother me given the specific atmosphere, what does he expect? It's comments like those that make people dislike him.

Yeah it's not close when you actually look at the numbers over their careers and playoffs, MJ in comparing them is #1 in just about every category when you compare them. These numbers are for full career, threw Larry in as well because I think a lot forget how great he was. June 21, 201313 yr Please post the comments. I haven't seen or heard them. The video I watched isn't beeped out so I hate to post it on here. He rudely told the media to get out of his face in the locker room. I just think things like this make him seem like a heel (to borrow a wrestling term).

Larry had 4 years of college ball and Jordan had 3 under Dean Smith.

June 21, 201313 yr The media for the most part was rooting against the Heat and were like vultures waiting to pounce on James had they lost...It was a heat of the moment response to a bunch of reporters during a celebration...I'm not crucifying him for it. No he can be criticized, would you be all peaches and cream if people that constantly criticized you suddenly were all up in your face wanting your time while you were wanting to celebrate with your team? If the reporters weren't there, he'd be talking about how they disrespected his team not showing them the love they deserved. You can't have it both ways. Being criticized and being in the media spot light, both positively and negatively is part of it. Btw, in case you missed it, I said I don't really have a problem with his comments. Bird had more steals than Kobe, like 250 more and only 23 less than LeBron.
