July 23, 201313 yr They found 41 grams I do believe, for those of you who do not know these metrics that equates to around an ounce and a half. Still a misdemeanor in most states (due to a decriminalization in marijuana laws), but to say it was a small amount is a stretch. They were only charged for an ounce of it however since the other two ounces and the gun were found outside the car and none of it could be tied to anybody in the vehicle. These dropped charges have been expected for the past two weeks. From what I am told Hairston passed a drug test the night of the arrest which is the reason for the dropped charge but I am guessing the other two guys did not since they are still being charged. The real issue for Hairston is and has always been the rental(s).

July 29, 201313 yr If he's not kicked off the team after today's citation then he should be Suspended half the season. At this point he's make UNC look like a complete joke. While a speeding ticket isn't a big deal he was cited for reckless driving, it's pretty obvious that he doesn't think the rules of society apply to him. If he doesn't slow down pun intended, he will be on the path to be Hernandez cell mate some day. Also I'm rather interested to hear what he was driving.
