July 30, 201313 yr Only one speeding ticket in my 42 years of driving. In freaking Mount Orab, Ohio; where it goes from 55 to 45 to 35 in the blink of an eye.
July 30, 201313 yr Who did it belong to? It is Rashad McCants old ride. Just got repossessed a few weeks ago.
July 30, 201313 yr It is Rashad McCants old ride. Just got repossessed a few weeks ago. Ahhh Rashad McCants, thats a blast from the past. Another faded star in the long lineage of the Dion Thompson, Sean May Eric Montross, Raymond Felton's of the world.
July 31, 201313 yr Ahhh Rashad McCants, thats a blast from the past. Another faded star in the long lineage of the Dion Thompson, Sean May Eric Montross, Raymond Felton's of the world. At least Eric Montross has a radio gig as the "color man" for UNC Basketball. Not sure what the others are doing.
July 31, 201313 yr At least Eric Montross has a radio gig as the "color man" for UNC Basketball. Not sure what the others are doing. Sean May plays professionally overseas.
August 1, 201313 yr Sean May plays professionally overseas. Deon Thompson just inked with FC Bayern Muenchen. I think that kind of hammers home my point. UNC seems to have an uncanny knack at getting top 25 guys and turning them into solid Europeon players.
August 1, 201313 yr Felton is the starting point guard for the Knicks. Who knew he'd be the one with an NBA career out of those three?
August 1, 201313 yr Pretty sure Felton is still in the league. Yeah but he is about the best of the group, and they've had a lot of highly touted players come through there. The point I am trying to make is if Ray Felton is one of the best NBA talent's you've developed out of all these top 25 guys, something is wrong. Even he's had a hard time sticking somewhere in the league. Knicks didn't want him and sent him in the Melo deal, then Denver didn't want to keep him, tried the Blazers out and they didn't like him, Knicks let Lin walk and took a chance to bring him back now they're not satisfied. Career journeyman is far from all-star, so lets not act like he's the man just because he's still in the league. My argument is not counting the 80's with Jordan, Worthy, etc. And not counting the 90's with Jamison, Stackhouse, Carter, etc. But you take it from like the 2000's on and its almost mind blowing. They have had so many highly touted guys coming in from high school, and lots of super hyped guys while playing and even winning titles at UNC. You would think more of them would stick. Top Tier Ty Lawson Raymond Felton Ed Davis Tyler Hansborough Harrison Barnes Marvin Williams Unproven But Potentially Upper Tier Tyler Zeller John Henson Kendall Marshall Low Tier Wayne Ellington Reggie Bullock Danny Green Brandan Wright Total Busts Sean May Deon Thompson Rashad McCants Joseph Forte David Noel Reyshawn Terry Ed Cota Jason Capel Jawad Williams Dexter Strickland Bobby Frasor And thats not even giving them the Ware twins and Larry Drew (all high school AA's) .....but yeah pretty medicore if you ask me.
August 1, 201313 yr I haven't even mentioned that a handful of those guys helped win two national championships. Just don't see the success rate of playing for UNC and translating that success to the league.
August 15, 201313 yr Author Not Jerry Tipton @NotJerryTipton UNC AD Bubba Cunningham says P.J. Hairston will play this year. (However, he will not attend class.)
