August 15, 201313 yr Blogs - Fayobserver.com - North Carolina coach Roy Williams won't talk about P.J. Hairston saga after round at Wyndham Champio Roy is tired of talking about P.J. and will no longer talk about it. Ok, well, why don't you kick him off the team if you don't want to talk about it? Otherwise, you will continue to field questions and as a coach allowing him to stay on the team, that is your duty.

August 15, 201313 yr So Johnny Football made a few bucks off his autograph. My man pj is riding around in a 70k ride with a quarter bag in one pocket and a pistol in his waist, all without a license. PJ needs to send Johnny a thank you card.

December 20, 201312 yr Sad thing about this is UNC was going to play him and keep him eligible if the NCAA didn't step in. Why wouldn't they ? You honestly believe UK wouldnt ?
December 21, 201312 yr Why wouldn't they ? You honestly believe UK wouldnt ? Not sure they haven't had anyone in that situation under Cal (being in trouble with the law and driving the car of a shady affiliate). They chose to sit Enes when he hadn't been cleared. So it's hard to say, if Roy played him thinking it would blow over and the NCAA got in on it and ruled him in eligible they would lose all the games and that would've stung if they made a tourney run. At least now their season isn't blemished. Kudos to the NC State fans they kept digging and pushing the issue, just wouldn't let it go away. All of this blows over if not for them IMO, NCAA started to see the smoke so they started looking for the fire. Daggum Roy was just trying to find the fire extinguisher, didn't get to it in time.
December 21, 201312 yr Why wouldn't they ? You honestly believe UK wouldnt ? Hard to say but some schools actually look into the accusations on the player and dig a little deeper than the surface to find stuff out. Seems like UNC asked a few questions and he denied so they accepted that. Wasn't until the NCAA got involved the second, or deeper the first time however you wanna say it, that UNC became weary of his involvement and decided to sit him.
