I guess so. I just really wish they would quit doing retreads.

This concept doesn't intrigue me at all...If they're going to do repeat cast, they should do a tribe of the 1st players voted out vs. a tribe of past winners.

 

I think Jeff Probst is trying to kill the show personally.

I don't know if this season is going to do it for me. Tonight's episode didn't do much for me but I learned that after 13 years Gervase still can't swim but he talks trash like the guy at the park with no game. Brad Culpepper is in good shape for a former NFL DT.

I thought the first show was good. A promising start. I think it was a bad move by the tribe keeping Katie instead of Gervase's niece.

I'm not a fan of the redemption island twist. And I realized how much I dislike Rupert. He's almost unwatchable. No one has ever gotten as much mileage from stealing shoes. I will continue to watch, but like others have said, if they keep doing retreads, this may be my last season. As it is now, I think I'm watching strictly out of habit at this point.

Seriously... Gervase was easily the worst player in that game, and was the ONLY one celebrating in the way that he did. Got his niece voted off. Way to go, champ.

I am with you. Without knowing or seeing much, I would think that his niece has a bit of a fire inside of her and would have been more beneficial in challenges than Katie.

Culpepper needs to tone it down some or I don't think he'll stick around very long.

 

Candice's wife wanted nothing to do with Rupert and Redemption Island. I don't blame him for wanting to get a chance to play the game. I'd have done the same thing and my wife probably would be ticked haha!

I agree with you on Culpepper needing to take it back a notch. I like his guys alliance. I have always said that is exactly what I would do if I ever played the game. I would align myself with the strongest guys and say let's get the end and then it is mano a mano for the win. The strong always get voted out at the end. The only way to combat that is form an alliance of the strong and pick the weak off first. I also don't think I would be as blatant about my alliance as Culpepper is. I would try to keep it under the radar as long as possible so the other players keep talking and sharing inside thoughts to my alliance.

Rule #1 if you are ever planning to go on Survivor: LEARN HOW TO MAKE A FIRE! It amazes me every season when a group says they don't have fire yet.

My prediction....Hayden will win another reality show, and Jeff will finally have killed the show for good with this season.

 

It's going to be painful to watch.

I am pretty much over the Rupert thing. Four times?, please give someone else a chance. I think I prefer the show without any old retreads. It would be pretty funny to see Rupert knocked out first. Its early but I will say the guy with the former drug addiction has a good shot.

I don't think Rupert thought this deeply when he took his wife's place, but I think that was a good move for him because of what you said above. I can see Rupert being voted out early. On Redemption Island, he gets to control his own destiny.
