Tyson was definitely deserving but I thought Monica did very well and had nothing to be ashamed of. I don't understand what the jury kept wanting from her in the final tribal council and I thought she did very well.

 

It was refreshing to have Aras ask a good question that provided some actual insight.

 

Think next season has some returning players?

DVR cut out so did not see the final vote count. Was it close? How many each?

The more Monica talked the less I wanted her to win. I think she did lose her mind the last few days out there. SHe was talking crazy and made thinly veiled threats. Why wouldn't Tyson give Gervase the idol? She acted like she was flipping the whole Tribal Council.

 

Aras' question was the best. If I make it to Survivor my speech will be like an answer to his question.

 

Of course returning players will return next season. I can't wait to see who the Brains are.

 

I think if Tina would have won I'd have literally lost my mind. I don't know how I would have reacted but it would have been ugly.

We only saw the first 6 votes. Tyson got the necessary 5 votes to win. Monica got the other vote. Not sure how the other votes went but once Tyson got to 5 it was a non issue.

 

Just googled it.....Vytas voted for Monica. The rest voted for Tyson.

I honestly dont understand what people think when playing this game and there is just one person dominating the game. Seen it happen this season. Then the season with Rob. Like make the move to get them out.

 

They all talk about this grand move they want to make and then never pull the trigger. I still really don't like Tyson but I don't know that I remember anybody ever playing a better overall game. After his injury he played in the background and then became a killer when he had to. No doubt in my mind he was sandbagging up until the final two challenges which is exactly what he needed to do. Then he won he had to. Boston Rob dominated a bunch of stupid newbies. Tyson led a bunch of returning players around by the scruff of the neck and they never even knew it.

Monica might be my least favorite player ever. She had so many chances to make moves and never did anything. She was content on 2nd/3rd place and it was pathetic.

IMHO, the best game played...that would have to be Cochran. Although Tyson did play a good game, the stupidity of Monica and Gervace won him the million dollars. Like you said, they had chances, even talked about it on camera, but still stuck to their alliance.

I finished watching this one earlier today. I really liked this one. I thought the new angle of family and being able to switch with them was a good one. A few thoughts.

 

- Tyson played the best strategy game since Kim in One World. For someone to go from voting himself out to winning is pretty impressive.

- I think I said this before but Colton is a bad person. If I never see Colton on TV again, that would be OK with me.

- Kudos to the game Caleb played. I thought it was pretty great to see him advance so much farther than Colton. It's a shame Caleb died in a train crash a year later. I think he would have been a returning player at some point.

- I had watched every episode until Season 19. I honestly didn't remember who Aras was. I had to look him up and was shocked to see he won what was obviously a forgettable season.

- It was goof to see them back in the water for most of the challenges.

- Candace was annoying in Cook Islands and even more annoying when she flipped on her alliance in Heroes vs Villians. Then she gets mad when someone flips and votes out her husband? Come on.

- I'd like to see Gervase's niece return. I think she would be a strong player.

I thought Candace was pretty annoying as well and you nailed Colton, he's tough to watch.
