Best Zombie movie ever?

Seeing trailers for World War Z got me to thinking about great zombie movies over the years.

 

What does BGP Nation think are the best of the Zombie genre.

Love the genre. Always have.

 

There are a lot of good ones and it's tough to pin down a favorite, but I love the original George Romero Dawn of the Dead.

I too can't wait to see WWZ. I don't go to the movies much, but I'll go to see this one.

I'm actually not a big fan of the genre. The Walking Dead sparked my interest & I've seen several zombie films since that show came on. Don't really care for many of them.

 

Very anxious to see World War Z.

I love all post Apocalyptic movies. I'm surprised how many people have never seen "The Omega Man".

"28 Days" was brutal to watch, in a good way. It wore me out how aggressive the zombies were, very good flick. I also like "I am Legend"

I have never seen a Zombie movie or show I liked ... including Walking Dead.

Zombies is the Genre that just keeps on giving...I personally loved a lot of the corny ones from the late 70's to early 80's where the Zombies just walked around saying "Brains brains brains" over and over. I don't remember the names of any of them, they all ran together but I loved the old corny ones.
