May 11, 201313 yr Finally got to watch 28 Days Later last night. Good movie. I don't consider it very good. Some things I didn't like & others I did. I thought the zombies themselves were the strongest aspect of the film. They were legitimately scary & seemed much more like predators than they do in most films. Regarding WWZ, there was a Vanity Fair article that discussed how the budget swelled from the $130 million range to about $200 million because they basically had to film an extra 40 minutes & do an extensive rewrite. And from what I've read, the film will deviate quite a bit from the book. After having read the book, I wondered how they could possibly translate that to a film, so I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. Very much looking forward to it.
May 12, 201313 yr The first five minutes of that, including the Johnny-Cash-fueled title sequence might be the best five minutes of zombie movie ever made. Just unreal. I agree with you. :thumb:
May 12, 201313 yr Without question.....Resident Evil, all five of them. :ylsuper: Resident Evil (film series) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
June 21, 201313 yr Headed to see World War Z tomorrow. Really looking forward to it. Just don't ruin it for me! We had a 3 dad-3 kid outing planned last night to go see it, but the NBA finals took precedent. Now have it on the books for Tuesday evening.

June 22, 201313 yr All eight of us in my group really liked it. I wouldn't call it scary, but definitely a lot of tense moments.
June 22, 201313 yr Author Going to try to see WWZ today, my son saw it and said it was a pretty good movie.
February 3, 201511 yr I am Legend is a remake of The Omega Man. Some might not consider it a zombie movie but more of a mutant/vampire type movie. The characters are not dead though Omega Man was just listed in the top Zombie movies article attached. Zombie movies that will leave you hungry for more
February 5, 201511 yr Some of my favorites.... Dawn of the Dead (remake) Zombieland Others I've enjoyed... Land of the Dead Doomsday Sadly I've never seen more then about 10 minutes of 28 Days Later. Definitely have to change that. I've seen 28 Days Later since posting the above. Solid movie.
