KY AAU Teams 2013

Featured Replies

Just saw on Twitter that Hatton is back with the Magic...was retweeted by Quen Snider.

Not overly surprised. I feel like they have a roster that suits Brandon and his style better. Plus, he's got chemistry with a lot of those boys.

Good luck.

At the end of the day---play where you are comfortable, play where you are respected, play where you are free to play your best.

I'll get this info tomorrow. Thanks for posting. I didn't know that was Bobby Washington's team.

Yea I talked to Conway on twitter and he said they were runner-up. Apparently they have a nice team. I'm gonna try to talk to Bobby and get their schedule and team name/roster

Young Life is the name of the Bobby Washington team. Still searching for a roster.

Just put in my information for media credentials to the EYBL Session 2 in Hampton, VA....can't wait to get this spring/summer rolling.

Definetly plan on going to that and the Peach Jam in July. Maybe a couple local events between the two within 3 or 4 hrs of NKY.

Besides the top two (Travelers and Magic) who are some of the other teams in Ky that will be competitive. I heard over the weekend about another team out of Louisville that was good, Louisville Prospects. What happened to the Louisville Storm? Also, who are the better teams in Ky from the North, East, South, and West?

In NKY, Legends, Timberwolves, Bulldogs, and Shining Stars are the better teams.

Legends have won both tournaments they've played in..group of current frosh.

Come on PP, where's the love? JK?.Seriously,Hoop Dreams 15U will be good again. They won state last year and did really well on the national circuit as well. They are pre-season #13 in the nation in Division 1 AAU club power rankings. Also 16U team won state last year, and added one of the best players in the state in Dikembe Dixon. Don't know if you've had the chance to see him play but WOW. The 17U group looks impressive as well. The 15U team gets to go against both teams in practice, so I've gotten to see the talent. The guy that founded the program, Mike Scott, knows his stuff. He's also the actial coach of the 15U team. Looking forward to the season!

N. Kentucky Tar Heel/Select will again be a strong contender at the 8th grade (incoming Freshman) level. Off to a good start in 2013 with winning both of their tourneys so far this year with the last one missing 4 key players. Placed 6th in the country the last 2 years at the D2 level. The core of this team has played together since the 3rd grade.

Best of luck to all the KY AAU teams this year!

This question I'm directing toward Walter because I feel like he would be the one most likely with the answer, but does anyone know if any of the Holmes Varsity roster is playing AAU anywhere other than Bolden?

I know a majority this past year were seniors, but thought that Chames and maybe Housely would be playing summer ball somewhere.

I'll find out. I know Shining Stars was wanting 6'3 soph Rod Avery to play.
