If it is the same Shining Stars team from last year you will have Grant Romes, Matthew Schumate and Cooper Theobald from CCH. I believe Jason Covington was on the team as well from NCC.

Speaking of local teams, and local players... Will the Crons team, including Trentman, Morrison, Kuntz, Robinson and others be returning this summer? That was a solid team.

Crons as an organization will not be back from what I understand. however I saw something about that same core of kids playing for another organization. (Not sure if that's true)

 

Hester is getting married and won't be coaching AAU this summer.

Bummer. Good team, solid coaching. I wonder if that means Hester will look more seriously at the HS realm... A lot of jobs opening up.

Is there a pending fued between Magic and Travelers. Following the twitter account of a Magic Coach (_M) that proclaims self greatness in bragging about his teams # 8 national ranking while wanting to know where the Travelers are. It is good to know that a rivarly in Ky this summer will be fun to follow. I think its funny how big $ programs take D1 talent and market their coaching ability when the D 1 players goes D 1 and then they become the next Coach Wooden. I guess those coaches love reading their own hype. Does anyone know the rosters for these two programs? Are there any other talented AAU programs in Ky that can sneak in and suprise these two goliaths? A good coach doesnt recruit committed players and can beat you with his team and then beat you with your team - thats coaching. What would be the best tournaments to watch these teams play? Please respond. Also, why is there no talk of the Ville - they were really good last year?

Saw in another thread that the travelers would post their roster on BGP in a week. Speculators in this and other threads may give hints to who they have.

 

Also, couldn't agree more on your coaching argument. Many AAU teams are predicated solely on player talent, though a few do have both, solid coaches and solid players, as some listed on here (Crons, for example).
