March 12, 201313 yr Ryan Fitzpatrick? He was cut today. better than what we got currently, bring him in.
March 12, 201313 yr Yes to the D line. Burfict seems to be the impact player at LB they have lacked for a long time. Corners are avg. at best. Now to the offense. Law firm had a good stretch, but that seemed to coincide with who was on the OL. Center? Gresham is an inconsistent head case. And besides Green, the recieving core is suspect. Sanu may be serviceable depending on health. O line is shaky. Whit seems to be in decline, the C is bad. They may lose the RT who has improved. Overall Green is the only real homerun threat, that's if the QB can get him the ball. Revert back to a game recently where he wasn't even targeted in the 1st half. What game was that? And then we always have the HC, who is incompetent. Your glass may be half full, but I believe it is leaking. Thank you malachi. You saved me a lot of typing. To Lipton Bash's comment that everyone is most worried about Dalton, he is close to being the least of my worries. If I am ranking biggest areas of concern on the Bengals, I put them in this order: 1. Safety - This is the position everyone agrees the Bengals need help. 2. Offensive line - Line was average at best last year and they may lose Smith. 3. Linebacker - I like Burfict but he was a rookie and everything else is a question mark. 4. Wide receiver - Green needs help. Sanu showed some late season promise and everyone else is inconsistent. 5. Running back - Another high level back is needed. 6. Corners - Solid, depth, experience. Other needs more important. 7. QB - I am more concerned about getting a quality back up than I am about Dalton. 8. Special teams - Looks solid with the recent signings. 9. Defensive line - The only position group that I consider the Bengals good enough to compete for a Super Bowl.
March 12, 201313 yr After the big name high dollar guys sign Mike will go after a Beanie Wells and call that his big upgrade.

March 13, 201313 yr Have the Bengals made any moves, or are they sticking with the same old tired "concentrate on our own FA's line"?? Percy Harvin would have made a nice addition to a "need" spot, but you can't sit on your hands & get impact players??

This just in from the Bengals front offices on the first day of Free Agency: *crickets* *crickets* *crickets* Yes ladies and gentlemen, the Bengals once again sit on the arse as the best players get picked left and right. Bengals will sign a scrub FA around the 3rd day at the earliest. Same ole same ole.
March 13, 201313 yr Apparently the Brown family is looking to see if Laveranues Coles is available? Sure hope so
March 13, 201313 yr Wow! With all of those horrible players and incompetent coaches, it's a wonder they won any games at all. I can't believe they actually made the playoffs two years in a row with this garbage. The rest of the league must be putrid. Try again... No one said horrible. You must be one of the many that is satisfied with squeaking into the 6th playoff spot, and going to Houston to get your hat handed to you... The goal should be to get better than that, not regress or stay the same. Now your turn, what have they done or will do to get better? Firing the HC would be a start.
March 13, 201313 yr I like Beanie Wells if you can get him cheaper than some of the other running backs metioned......
