Sounds like this one was all we imagined it would be. Congrats to Holmes on advancing! :thumb:

Great job representing the 9th Region, congrats on the win. :ylsuper:

Walter, thanks for the text updates.

Bolden is kind of lanky for being so quick--similar to Snider of Ballard. He may end up 6"2" or so---who knows? As an earlier poster said, he does have great handle. Stan Hardin, the old Fairdale coach, said on the ihigh telecast that he can't go to his right. Whether or not this is true, PRP could not do anything with him today. Plus----isn't he only a soph? His game will come around. Has a good shot, too, it seems.

That's what makes him High DI. His ability to hit open shots and make the shots that he creates, consistently. Makes his quickness so much more dangerous b/c you can't give him any space.

Since my electric went out last night and was unable to change my avatar, I will stick with this avatar & location until the Dawgs lose.

Can't afford that "luxury", 3 girls in catholic schools is a "bigger" priority.

You probably could have stopped at 3 girls.:isurrender:

Bolden's handle is crazy good, and he was a steady force on the floor today, but he missed a lot of the floaters that usually go down. No worries, Dogs win and advance. Watching the live stream, two very annoying issues... 1. replay immediately after every basket, causes you to miss a lot of the game. 2. the color guy (former Fairdale coach) was incredibly down on Bolden... "doesn't shoot the ball well" and, over and over again "he can't go right. he can't go right at all. Its a proven fact". Seemed like he was so proud of himself that he of genius basketball IQ had figured out how to stop Bolden and Holmes.

PRP's guards were quick and athletic defensively, cause a few problems for Bolden. Anybody know how Madison Central's guards compare?

Have to agree replays of every basket was annoying. Someone saying Bolden doesn't shoot well hasn't seen him play much. Now saying Bolden isn't shooting well that was true today. Glad to see the 9th get a win. Can't say I was real confident of that when the draw was first announced.

I did, two weeks after #3 "popped out", we went to see Dr. Snip-It.
