I went over & spoke with Coach L, shook his hand, told him congrats & he gave me a hug. I was with two other CovCath guys that did the same, so be careful with blanket statements.

 

The thousands of fans for both teams showed a lot of class tonight. I didn't see any incidents or altercations. The fans deserve a hand as well as the kids, who left nothing on the floor.

I say we talk about the boys that impacted the game and not a coach. I say Coach L would agree.

For sheer drama and draining emotion the 4 OT game 2 years ago might never be beat. But this one was worth the $8 bucks for the last 24 seconds alone.

 

The one thing I would suggest for future 9th region tourneys is to start the first round doubleheaders at 5 or 5:30 and not at 6 when weekday night classes also start.

My first time seeing the Holmes and the Bolden kid play this year and he lived up to all the hype! I dont have a dog in the fight but just wanted to go watch the game. Well worth the 8 bucks!!!!! Great season for both teams and good luck to Holmes at state.
