Has Chuck Smith applied at Boone County?

That's not what St X said after they put a running clock on the Birds in 2005 and beat them 2 Td's in 2006.

You made my point. Highlands wasn't Highlands good in 2003. Usually any time Highlands loses it's an upset. Highlands doesn't lose to Boyle anymore. Highlands also renews contracts.

St. X has since disappeared. Get better and maybe that game can be played again.

So Highlands has only been 'Highlands good' 21 times in school history? Gotcha.

And you made my point. You don't know anything about those seasons or teams. So you decide to bring up current Boyle issues rather than stick to Chuck Smith. FWIW I don't like what Boyle did either, but it makes no difference because you can't make a logical argument to your premise about those Boyle teams. You've yet to honestly evaluate the talent that Smith developed and the schemes and success he had. Come back when you can put real data on the argument.

22 times.

It must be a tough decision on hiring Chuck Smith? Do they hire Chuck Smith or continue the old school running game. Flip a quarter already! :D

Wow, another thread turned into a Highlands thread, even I am at a loss sometimes...

I am going to start another thread on the side topic, please let this thread stay on topic.

Well, with respect, duh! Seems like someone ensured that happening when he posted that if Boone hired Smith, they would eventually dominate Highlands.

That was a vote of confidence for Coach Smith, not an invitation for the walking dead (joke).

So was it ever confirmed that he had applied for the job? If he did, to me the search is over, what's taking so long? There's only a handful of coaches at his level in the state.

No idea either way.

I know, but even Helen Keller could have seen what was going to happen once you posted that comment.

Mention Highlands in a thread, particularly in a manner that some Highlands fans disagree with, and it's a foregone conclusion that the thread will get turned into a Highlands thread.
