It's obvious you don't know how the process works. They had to post the position for 30 days. During that period, they received numerous applicants. Afterwards, they had a committee review the applicants and narrowed the field to the top seven candidates. All seven were then interviewed and three were brought in for a second interview. An offer was made today. They didn't rush to judgment but used due diligence to find the right person for the job.
