nkuclubbaseball19
Just watched a recap video on espn.com and it appears Saban doesn't even get excited about winning the BCS Championship anymore.

newarkcatholicfan
Thank you BAMA for showing how overrated that team was you beat.As I said they did not belong in this game. The media can hype them all they want but when it comes down to playing the game the media can not do that for them.
4chs
Three titles in four years? Absolutely. Saban is miles ahead of anyone else right now. Alabama is like a "perfect storm" right now, a combination of great talent and coaching, in combination with motivation and attitude...
truthbtold
Hard to argue that Notre Dame didn't deserve to be in this game. Given the regular season, they were most deserving. Plaaaayoooffffff pleeeaaaassseeee The played no one the WHOLE year. 3 overtime wins against teams that were not rated. The only decent win they had was against Sooners, who Texas AM destroyed. So, no they did not deserve to be in titile game.

Can't really say they played nobody, three of their regular season opponents finished in the top 25. Based on their record and BCS rules they did deserve being in the game even though there were several teams better. A playoff system would have exposed them earlier. birdseye
Um, the SEC was 6-3 in bowls with the BCS Championship in tow for the 7th year in a row. Florida's effort was embarrassing but other than that typical SEC. In other news, ND was ranked #1 by the human voters. They would have been the #1 seed in the new playoff format. Bama was favored by the computers and by Vegas. There will still be championship games like this when the playoff format starts up.
MJAlltheWay24
I can't help but wonder what would have happened if OSU was eligible this year. Would this solid Bama team have missed the NCAA Championship game completely? That would have been a shame. They are definitely the best team in the country. Clyde
Some people took shots at VU Coach Franklin for his voting in the coach's poll to end the regular season. They were upset that he didn't have ND #1 and, at worst, #2. He had them #4 with 3 SEC teams ahead of them.
birdseye
The thing thats awesome is not that Alabama was physical last night, its that they were BRUTAL. ex. Eddie Lacy running through Te'os arms...or using 1 arm to throw a safety to the turf. They have been Sabanized and they just don't care what is in the way. Then they execute the plan with razor sharpness.
Clyde
Remember, this year's Bama team was the one that was supposed to be ready NEXT year to make a run again at the championship.
