January 4, 201313 yr What a great performance from start to finish, the game wasn't as close as the final score. This game was key for next year and the national perception of Louisville. There is a chance they will be undefeated and up against a 1-loss team with a real schedule for a title shot and this game will certainly help. Although last time Louisville won a BCS bowl I remember what happened when they came into Commonwealth the next year :taz: They also got a new HC during the off season. Don't think that's going to be happening this time.

January 4, 201313 yr Just got in the house from a long drive back from NOLA. Great time. Loved the city and the home town folks were great. Few Things.... PEP Rally day before SUCKED! UL band is terrible - tired of hearing Bon Jovi and Sweet Caroline! Game Awesome - Cards came out punch the Gators in the mouth and they never recovered. The Gators spent more time trash talking than playing the game. Gator offense is to predictable. Cards had a great game plan and finished the mission. Card fans - The overated cheer is stupid. What you are saying when you Cheer overated is your team sucks and shouldnt win!
January 4, 201313 yr I didn't think they would win. However this just goes and shows how stupid it is for people to use the eye test in determining things. College football for its history has been horrible in how it crowns a champion because it is not played out on the field. The eye test puts two teams usually in the championship, and once again we see how wrong it is to do that. Congrats to UL on a great win yesterday!

January 4, 201313 yr I'm back!!!!! And man oh man was that one amazing time. over 30K U of L fans......painted Bourbon Street red.....and made it a homegame for the Cards....that Dome gets loud. Regarding the game.....we took it to them from the get go. I have been critical of Shawn Watson in the past, but he called a sensational game.....more later..

January 4, 201313 yr That include when Miami was in the Big East? Yes, but the Big East is 2-1 vs the SEC in BCS bowl games since Miami left, a better percentage.
