I don't own a scale but here recently I'd like to check my progress but I'm leery about it.

hoops try this one...

9-6-3

Handstand Pushups

Burpees

Chest to Bar Pullups

Burpees

This is a 3 round work out, start with 9 reps of each movement, second round is 6 reps of each, third round is 3.

If you can't do handstand push ups you can modify by putting your knees on plyo box (or chair) and do the hspu from there. Yours knees being on something will take a lot of the weight off. If you still struggle, start walking your hands out where there is more if and angle between your body and the box/chair. If you still can't, a regular push up will work.

Thanks! Much appreciated!

So i've been watching everything I eat, and watching calories, I've been doing the Insanity workout and I'm drinking between 80-100 ounces of water a day. My question is, is that too much water? Is there such a thing as too much water? Also, that's all I've been drinking.

I just saw this come across Twitter right after I read your post.

How Much Water Should I Drink?

^ Awesome thanks.

I guess I could have searched the net, but figured I'd come here first.

I think that is the biggest obstacle for people (It has been for me). If you can slowly cut that down you are going to lose weight pretty much not matter what you eat. It's OK to eat fries and cookies sometimes but just don't eat a super size fry and an entire sleeve of thin mints.

Indeed. To be honest what really helped me is ordering less, embracing to go boxes and refrigerating my left overs rather than making sure there weren't any. To be honest you save money that way too.

I drink way more the 80-100. I noramlly drink 2-3 16 oz bottles in the morning while lifting, I take a gallon jug to work with me, then have a 64oz bottle with at the crossfit gym after work.

My problem was always eating too fast. I try to slow down and stop when I start feeling full.

Once you get into a zone where you see food as fuel only, and divorce any emotional connection to it, it all becomes easier. That takes about 6 weeks.

Many years ago I did a "spiritual" weight loss program called "Weigh Down". It was just as you say, getting rid of any emotional connection to food. It was a simple in theory, but took awhile to get disciplined. Eat only when you have true hunger. And you stop eating at the first sign of fullness. You can eat whatever you want, any type of food. But you can only eat when your stomach is growling. And during your eating, you must stop at the first sign that your stomach is full.

It was amazing and really worked. I need to get back into that.

That certainly makes a difference, when I have the time I try to take it although it's hard when I only get a half an hour for lunch but I don't hesitate to bring it back with me and take my time finishing rather than forcing it down like I'm in a timed event.

Watching the Pack. Or getting updates on the Brossart/Campbell County game?

Perfect time to "get your squat on"!

30 squats

1 min plank (x2)

And what the heck, throw in a couple burpees, just because!

Do it! No excuses!

Haven't started exercising yet but have started eating better this week. I'm shocked at some low calorie meals out there now. Tonight I ate Alaskan flounder, broccoli, cup of chicken noodle soup, a roll, and one scoop of ice cream at Bob Evans that was around 625 to 650 calories.

When you pay attention, it's amazing!
