January 17, 201313 yr Plyometrics, then, 5/3/1 Bench then EDT Period 1 (Bent-over Row and Shoulder press) EDT Period 2 (Dips and Pullups) I've been doing the 5/3/1 for close to a year and love it. Probably as simple as it gets and effective.
January 17, 201313 yr No clue, but impressed. Go Mex! :dancingpa I'm about to start indoor soccer, so I have to do something to get explosive. I do a simple plyometrics (think jumping and quick feet stuff) program. Nothing like we did in college. Takes about 10 minutes. 5/3/1 refers to Jim Wendler's strength program. It is a must read if anyone wants to get strong and have a life at the same time. Very efficient and simple. Don't overthink it. The EDT is what I linked to earlier in this thread. I use 2 assistance exercises that support the bench. As many reps as possible in 15 minutes. I then do some bodyweight lifts at the end because I hate/love them and feel like they help in everything. W/ stretching the whole thing has to take under an hour b/c I have to coach my boys in basketball tonight.
January 17, 201313 yr Author Question about jumping jacks. This progam I'm doing includes intervals of cardio, weights, and abs. Lots of jumping jacks. I'm keeping up, but my knees are really hurting from the JJs. They also do squat punches, a jump rope move, and butt kicks. Can anyone recomend another high impact cardio move that I can do during the JJ intervals?

AuxierRiverRat---how's the sit ups? Doomer? LuckyCharms? PutMeInCoach :thumb: JUST DO IT! Sit ups are three days a week. I just completed the first week. Been altenating each day between lifting and running/walking for a few days now. On my way to the gym in a few minutes.
January 17, 201313 yr Friend wants me to go skiing this weekend and I was completely in for it until I just thought about how easy it is to get your ski's stuck in the ground. I really don't like the thought of knee surgery #5. decisions, decisions.
