December 29, 201213 yr I watched the game on TV. I thought UK was going to get run out of the gym but Wiltjer hit those 3s and the come back started. This was probably a good game for both teams but better for UL because theyre the ones with the W.

UL returned almost everyone from a Final 4 team and they were put to the test against a young and inefficient UK team. For a team w true title hopes to almost blow a 17 pt second half lead at home is really concerning. This was HUGE for UK going into conference play. You just stared the third best team in the country in the eye, took their best combination uppercut and almost won. All on the road.
December 30, 201213 yr Very entertaining game to watch. UK's youngsters seemed to really grow up in the second half. I'm very encouraged by their effort and poise in a very tough situation. If they hit their free throws they could very well have pulled this one out. UL will be very, very good once Dieng gets back to 100%.
December 30, 201213 yr The authoritative slam down the middle by Willie Cauley Stein started the Cats comeback. There was very little confidence on the floor at the time, or so it seemed to me, and WCS injected a huge amount of "fight" into the game for KY. I' m encouraged by what I saw today, but they still have to learn how to look for each other....I thought Louisville did that well. Go cats.

He can make something out of nothing and then make something out of nothing into something worse. I guess this is how young Greek gods felt when harnessing their powers. December 30, 201213 yr I thought one of the biggest plays of the game was the R Smith missed dunk In the first few minutes. UL's early run was cut short because the miss kind of took the wind out of their momentum. It allowed UK to gather themselves.

December 30, 201213 yr Just finished watching the game. Congrats to the Cards. They are the better team. I was impressed with how the Cats fought back. Harrow is getting better each game. When Wiltjer is hitting he gives the Cats a boost. Goodwin with some nice baskets down the stretch. If Cal can get Poythreis to reach his potential I think the Cats will be very good come tourney time.
