That was GRC losing by double figures two games in a row. They came back and played a real good game against Lex Christian.

I wish Fleming could give Mason more competition in these games but believe me its still a big rivalry. Not just in basketball either.

Where are the girls and boys 16th Region tournaments this year? Does anybody have the dates and times? Thank you in advance.

This whole thing still doesnt seem right or smell right. A few years ago it seemed like GRC got extra players from Fleming County, now it is Bath. I just dont see how you can be at one school one day and play for a different school a day or two later. It doesnt matter what the family circumstances are, that's just too quick a turnaround for the KHSAA to handle. If what Sumo is saying happens we will just have a free for all for players all season long.

And when. And when the paperwork was started. That should put this thing to bed once and for all.

Fleming County is hitting a bad patch now.

I always hate to see the Panthers lose to Rowan but it sounds like a decent showing for Fleming.

Then thats the fastest KHSAA paperwork job in history.

You are right it doesnt pass the smell test. GRC loses two games in a row and all of a sudden has a girl that came from Bath County whose dad now works in Georgetown and plays in Winchester.

That wasnt the first time this happened in Winchester and it wont be the last. Girls region is more open than the boys this year for sure.

This has been a good rivalry game for a long time, I will take Rowan County by 8 on the road.

Fleming needs to find more options besides Williams, he cant do it all himself. An old buddy told me that Williams is hands down the best player on the Panthers this year. They need more guys to step up like Glascock did in this one.

I know Fleming County graduated a lot of players. So many that they cant make the top ten?

It will be interesting to see how the Panthers do after so many guys graduated. I dont know if they will be able to 3peat.

Nothing surprises me about transfers. Watching the 10th region over the years Ive seen a whole bunch of them. Wireman I wish you luck!

I hate to see this final score but the Panthers arent the same without Burns in the lineup.

I watched the game on TV. I thought UK was going to get run out of the gym but Wiltjer hit those 3s and the come back started. This was probably a good game for both teams but better for UL because theyre the ones with the W.

Somebody in the GRC Somerset Christian thread said that GRC said they didn't want to play Brossart because they are a 10th region team. I hope that isnt true.

If thats true it must be nice to be able to tell the people running the tournament who you want to play and who you dont want to play. What would have happened if Brossart had said they didnt want to play a Georgia team.

Is that because Brossart plays a lot of teams from northern KY? Or because they are far apart even with both teams in the 10th region?
