Final from the Republic Bank Classic.

Second consecutive loss following ten straight wins.

Missed opportunities to build meaningful separation when ahead 7 on a couple of occasions, and another marginal shooting night contributed to our demise in this one.

We seem to bring out the best in opponent's shooters. After Roger Bacon handed us a 7 of 11 night from beyond the arc, Fayette comes back with 7 more threes in this one. They also hit 10 of 11 freebies, to our 5 of 8. A lot to overcome.

Justin Saunders was a warrior in this one, scoring 19 points overall and 12 in the decisive fourth quarter. He is now only 30 points from joining the Brossart 1,000 point club.

Drew Burns had 15 in another strong performance, and Ben Uebel scored 6 of his 8 coming down the stretch. Fayette hit their final six free-throws in a row to hold the Mustangs at bay.

Mod please change the score to 59-55

Old age and running a day behind results in yesterday's result - lol

This may be a loss for BB, but I feel they will build from this game and will only make them better for the All A and post season. I have listen to their games alot lately and really like this BB team. Saunder's with 19 and only 30 away from 1,000 is a great accomplishment on a team that plays such good team ball. Uebel and Burns are always in the thick of things. Love the way Trentman cleans the glass. I was disappointed we didn't play them today, but again even in a loss I feel that BB will benefit more from this game in the long run.

^ Agree, not an end of the world loss for the Mustangs, who have had a few things pointed out to them that we need to work on over the next couple of weeks.

Fayette was extremely athletic, had nice guards who handled our defensive pressure, and they shot lights out (who doesn't against us - lol).

Need to develop more a killer instinct when they have teams on the rope.

Who does Brossart play today? and time?
