Actually as usual you have to use your bias in your decision. Conner is not the best tteam in 5A not to be in the finals.

 

Now if we were talking about best offense...then there could be a great argument between Franklin Co. and Conner. But we are talking about team which includes the entire team (Defense, offense, special teams) and unfortunately Conner's defense keeeps them from being the best team not in the finals.

 

Conner's offense, yes you have an argument there, but we're talking about the best TEAM. Trust me, if we could combine Conner's offense with Coopers defense we'd win some serious hardware.

 

Those teams would mix like oil and water at this point..

 

Now 6 years ago, before Cooper was built, and many of coopers players were set to go to conner.. That would have been one hell of a team right now.

I don't think they'd mix like water and oil at all. Although for some reason the last 2 weeks Cooper plaayers have been reading a lot of negative posts from a lot of Conner players for some reason.

 

Doesn't make sense to me, we wanted Conner to go as far as possible last year when they went to regionals.

All these "what ifs" and "we had you" comments regarding close games, one play in your opinion changes the whole outcome of the game.

 

Well, I say baloney... Teams like Highlands, Trinity and even Bowling Green make you think you are in a game when all they are really doing is just playing with you. Great teams and programs make you think you had em and in reality you were never really ever close at all.:thumb:

I there were a tournament played among teams that have been eliminated thus far, X would win it.

 

Oh my! Don't give the KHSAA any ideas.

John Hardin would get my vote. Watched them play and they are scary good, especially #7, he's a ball player. They controlled to BG game with the exception of "the play" and they were completely robbed on they 2pt try after their second touchdown. Don't know what the ref was watching but the rb was in the endzone clearly. Oh well, just hoping Cooper can steal another win in hostile territory. Go Jags, Birds, and Breds!!!

There is no way CovCath is lower than fourth on this list, and they may actually be higher than that...

My vote is for St. X with Scott County a very close second.

1A - Beechwood

2A - Somerset

3A - ?

4A - CovCath (tough to pick a 2nd team, LC or BC probably)

5A - John Hardin & Franklin Cty(or Conner)

6A - St X & Scott Cty

 

Cov Cath was clearly the 2nd best team in 4A

I agree. I think both Lex Cath and Franklin Co could win as well as a couple others in 5A besides BG. Cov Cath is very good, so any CCH fans don't take it the wrong way, I just think there could be some very good games and I would bet the house on CCH winning all those games.

Nobody-because some of the teams that lost in the finals weren't very good.
