I think 2, tough to win the first time in the finals, especially against a seasoned team like BG. I think Cooper has big OP, but will get caught up in the moment. Cooper has a nice team though. They have beaten a lot of nice teams this season. If they are focused and don't get big eyed, it could happen, but I don't look for them win it this time around.

Cooper won't get caught up in the moment. The team has been focused and will treat this game as business as usual. Their coaches and more importantly the senior class has worked to keep the team grounded on execution on the task at hand. No Vegas lights here just plain showing up and playing FOOTBALL the same way that's gotten them 13 wins so far and looking for number 14.

I think 2 should be favored to win it and if they don't, I'd be surprised.. Cooper will be an underdog, but, BG isn't playing as good as they were earlier in the season either, so, it wouldn't shock me to see Cooper pull the upset..

I think HHS and NCC will win convincingly. I'm not speaking out of arrogance, just statistically. I think Cooper has a chance to be the Cinderella story. I know coach Borchers from high school/college and what a great guy. I'd love to see this guy get a W. I think you'd see a lot of shifting in kids to be in Cooper district. Good luck to all 3 and hope I can catch the early flight home to get a chance to make the trek to BG!

It should be interesting to see how the schools in the area change over the next few years. There is still a lot of growth area around the Ryle, Cooper and Conner school districts. Boone is really the only school right now that is pretty much land locked.

 

That will dictate who starts getting the more kids at their respected programs in the future. I actually think Ryle has the biggest opportunity due to the number of farms and open land available past the school headed down 42.
