I would love to see 4 titles for NKY. Good Luck to Cooper, Highlands, NewCath and Beechwood. I think Highlands is likely to win and I think NewCath is a slight favorite to win. Beechwood has been playing a totally different game with the QB change allowing Nussbaum to be more versatile so I like their chances as well. Cooper certainly has the toughest road with Bowling Green looming if the Jags can win this week.

 

All in all, I think NKY gets 2-3 titles. Highlands and either NCC or Beechwood or possibly both!

Really just 5 classes since there are no NKY teams in 3A

Its too bad the Birds arent playing BG next week. I think that would be an awesome matchup.

 

Cooper has shown they are true Road Warriors and I am pulling for them bigtime to upset the Purples. (No offense PP92)

You can't claim to be one of the best teams in NKY and in 5A all year long and then when you get to the final game(as you expected to all season long) and then holler if we win it is as big as an upset in Hoosiers. :lol: :lol: :lol: That is so laughable. Show me where I ever predicted that Cooper would make it to the state finals.

 

I also knew how good this team was, but never said they would be in the finals. I also was talking about what everyone else said about Cooper. Let me list just a few.

1 not even listed in the top 10 before the season for NKY teams

2 Couldn't win a playoff game

This one was in the middle of the season...3 "talk to us when you win something, no titles etc."

4 Shouldn't be in the playoffs, only 1 and 2 seeds should play

5 can't beat Anderson County

6 Can't beat South Oldham

7 Can't beat Franklin Co.

8 Won't leave Harlan Co alive

 

Sorry, but people in the area and on here didn't give them a chance even before the season started.

 

Not only were there many on here that said they shouldn't of been in the playoffs, but they went out and beat every 1 and 2 seed all on the road the last 4 weeks. You can't sit there and show me anyone on here that is not associated with Cooper that predicted them to be in the finals this year during or before the season started. Shoot even Conner folks on here have stated time and time again that even Conner was the better team. (they have been pretty silent the last 3 weeks on here). So I hate to break it to you, this team has been the underdog not only all season, but all post season also.

 

 

Now about the game, Bowling Green has been ranked the #2 team in the state all season behind Trinity in most polls. You are saying this wouldn't be a huge upset if they lost???? Pleaaaaaaaassssseeeee! Lol
