That would be cool. If Cooper makes it and NCC makes it, they would be playing back to back which would make it a huge party atmosphere. I am not thinking about that though. I am more concerned with Cooper playing this Fri nite first. They face another team that has put up a ton of points all season. Makes me worried. What makes me even more worried is I don't know anything about Harlan Co. Unlike all our previous opponents at least I know a little something about them. So I worry about our next game.

 

Plus with Coach Borchers being a NewCath grad I'm sure many of the Breds faithful would stick around to support.

The same was said back in '06 when the Breds started out 2-5. All they did after that was go 8-0 on their way to the state title, including ending the Briar Jumpers 9 game winning streak at the Briar Patch in a 40-24 victory. It can be done, only time will tell.

BG is very good but they are not unbeatable.

 

Cooper CAN win. They would not be the favorite but it wouldn't shock me if they would win.

As Lawnboy13 said at this time of year it is NKY against the State. I am wishing for four State Titles this year for an early Christmas present to all Northern Kentucky Football Fans. Good luck Highlands, Cooper, NCC and Beechwood. JD

Wrong again.. If cooper won the state title I would be happy for them.. A life long friend of mine is on the coaching staff, and I have known a few of their players their entire lives.. However, they, or anyone else in 5A has zero chances of beating BG.

I Think Cooper is going to run the table and bring home their first state championship. That will make 2 for NKY

I would be VERY shocked if they beat BG.....I would take BG by 3 touchdowns in that one.
