Birdie, the Conner crowd has not been in the mix for 2 weeks because our season is over. They had a great season. Most Conner supporters are pulling for Cooper. It's funny that even though Conner is out, you continue to bring up the Conner team? That might be because Conner won against Cooper by a pretty good margin. Give Conner a little respect since they provided a county sweep and gave the Jags there only loss, so far.

I also knew how good this team was, but never said they would be in the finals. I also was talking about what everyone else said about Cooper. Let me list just a few.

1 not even listed in the top 10 before the season for NKY teams

2 Couldn't win a playoff game

This one was in the middle of the season...3 "talk to us when you win something, no titles etc."

4 Shouldn't be in the playoffs, only 1 and 2 seeds should play

5 can't beat Anderson County

6 Can't beat South Oldham

7 Can't beat Franklin Co.

8 Won't leave Harlan Co alive

 

Sorry, but people in the area and on here didn't give them a chance even before the season started.

 

Not only were there many on here that said they shouldn't of been in the playoffs, but they went out and beat every 1 and 2 seed all on the road the last 4 weeks. You can't sit there and show me anyone on here that is not associated with Cooper that predicted them to be in the finals this year during or before the season started. Shoot even Conner folks on here have stated time and time again that even Conner was the better team. (they have been pretty silent the last 3 weeks on here). So I hate to break it to you, this team has been the underdog not only all season, but all post season also.

 

 

Now about the game, Bowling Green has been ranked the #2 team in the state all season behind Trinity in most polls. You are saying this wouldn't be a huge upset if they lost???? Pleaaaaaaaassssseeeee! Lol

 

 

Cooper was the favorite according to BGP polls in all of those games except for one.(Franklin County)

There were a lot more than 2 to 4 people saying that. Shoot there is a.....I will watch what I call him, and just say there is a mental midget even today claiming Cooper shouldn't of been in the playoffs.

 

The elitist attitudes of some people on here makes me scratch my head, figures that many of these arrogant folks are followers of schools like Highlands etc.

Who don't think anyone else ever deserves any credit.

 

What I don't get is this. What is wrong with giving a deserving team the same opportunity their elite program gets every year?

 

If you want to eliminate bad teams from the playoffs then eliminate those that have no district wins or under 500 in district. You don't eliminate good teams just because you don't want to watch their games.

I give Conner a ton of credit and wish they would of won against FC. Thanks for the well wishes.

I will be rooting for 3 for 3 out of NKY.

Obviously I like the birds to win. Breds are playing very well and look good also.

 

I have assumed that BG would run away with 5A from everything I have heard all year,

but I like what Cooper has done and with the very tight game BG had this week,

I would have to think that Cooper has a legit opportunity.
