If BW goes to the state championship will Fieger have played in enough games to letter?

 

I think they go by quarters played and for some reason I am thinking 16 quarters and you letter. So he will have that after next week's game if that is correct. But I sse your point. That is an interesting question.

I just saw the highlights on "The Blitz" and I must say Frankfort's QB looked a bit like a short Lorenzen. Same number and a lefty to boot.

Often as in never. He may be the only player in the modern era of football to pull that one off. I've seen LBs, and DE's but never a DT.

For Frankfort everything that could have went wrong did in the first half. Losing #7 Jalen Washington really hurt. I said all year depth was what the Panthers lacked and it showed tonight.

Told so many all season that once Beechwood got healthy they would dominate Frankfort. The first half of the Dayton game was best thing to happen to a healthy Tiger team. It showed them that they could not take any one lightly and got them back to their roots: ground and pound!!

So we just throw out tradition? I would be very disappointed if they changed it fo a single player. Not having them makes him stand out more, kinda like a badge of honor. Now, if the team votes to give them to all Freshman, then I'm with them. Combs and Slusher are also contributing. Much more quietly, but certainly helping to make a difference.

I agree. Overall, I think this is the best Frankfort team Beechwood has faced. I was really impressed with their defense last night. If Frankfort doesn't turn the ball over, this game is a closer game. Beechwood controlled the action so I don't see the outcome changing but the turnovers made the score 35-13 instead of perhaps 21-7.

 

If I am Frankfort, I drop a couple 1A schools and add two more higher class tough opponents to the schedule to get the team prepared for this type of game. That was a very good Frankfort team that Beechwood beat last night.

VOR only 1A teams Frankfort plays is the district games.

 

I do agree Frankfort needs to continue to upgrade the schedule.

I had no clue it was tradition. If that is the case, then yeah, don't change it. I just noticed on the highlights last night that he didn't have the decals on the helmet. I wasn't sure if it was something you had to earn.
