SK must have played the JV tonight? A very credible source told all of us that this was a sure W for Simon.

"SK didn't want to show their full playbook before the playoffs. Just wait..."

Haven't heard from uk#1fan. I would like to hear what he has to say about Scott County's domination.

I figured the Cardinals would definitely win, but not by this margin. Sounds like an impressive one to say in the least.

Did SK even get off the bus??

No. 5 Scott County 56, Simon Kenton 6: Senior running backs Kevo Edwards and Dieries Dumphord stole the show for the Cardinals (9-1) in their final regular-season home game at Toyota Stadium against the Pioneers (7-3). Scott County has a lot of elite athletes on both sides of the ball. I would not be surprised if several of them qualify for state in track.

SK came out tentative and SC pounced on them all night long. It appears that they lost confidence, probably after the Campbell County game.

I'll say this to all of you SK haters out there and after a 50 point loss. Given the level of talent on this team, I would say that SK overachieved this season. Up until the last two games, they found ways to points on the board and win a few games. Eventually , not having a POY candidate stud on your team catches up with you. I believe Marksberry got the most out of this bunch that he could get. He did a very good job putting the kids into a position to compete.

We have to give Scott County a lot of credit' date=' other than the early season embarrassment at Highlands the Cardinals have had a great season and them steamrolling Simon is no surprise at all.[/quote']

This score really leaves me wondering what to think of SC. I mean the margin of victory here plus the loss to Highlands makes it hard for me to figure them out.

Your "haters" comment is misplaced. 99.9% of people in NK do not "hate" or "root against" the SK players and staff. You've got one guy that causes all of the SK problems.

I agree with you Clyde. The sad thing is, he can't be found after a loss. He must be busy cooking up his crow.

I hope we can put the "SK can beat Highlands" talk to rest.

I'm sure SC has improved a ton since the Highlands game, but probably still wouldn't beat the 'Birds.

I am with Guru, the Scott Co team is a very good football team and I am not surprised by this score. SK obviously didnt show up and it happens, they are also a pretty good football team but will have to right the ship if they want to do anything in the playoffs.

I saw the Scott Co. HHS tape. SC gave HHS a lot of turnovers leading to cheap easy scores. I'd like to see a SC HHS game with no turnovers.

Do you ever give HHS any credit? You my friend are a "Hater". Turnovers are part of the game. HHS had 4 in the first quarter last night and still pounded Ryle..

He might be choking on it.
