Your "haters" comment is misplaced. 99.9% of people in NK do not "hate" or "root against" the SK players and staff. You've got one guy that causes all of the SK problems.

He seems to hit a particular nerve with Highlands and Trinity followers who have a hard time dealing with a fan who does not genuflect at the alter of their greatness. I think he has fun with it and does not take high school sports (or himself) too seriously.

My issue is the purely false statements that he constantly makes....I could care less if he likes TRINITY. Actually, I would rather more people hate us.....

SK couldn't get the job done even when they had Miles Simpson, so how would that make any difference? I think the biggest rub has been you and jolmstead contending that Simon Kenton should be rated in the top echelon of the polls. Your paper tiger identity was revealed for all to see when you entered the 6A part of your schedule, and fell to a Campbell County team, which was about a .500 team at the time, and then lost again to a Dixie Heights squad, which had won only one game to date. The final nail in the true identity coffin was administered in a 50-point loss to a Scott County team that you had belittled as an easy win for Simon Kenton. Obviously the pollsters at BGP had your team pegged correctly all season despite all the hot air which was being spewed. I've always had a deep respect for the Simon Kenton family and enjoy talking with them at X/SK games and scrimmages. I guess there are a couple bad apples in everyone's barrel which sadly reflects badly on an otherwise good group. :irked:

I love the enthusiasm he has for his team. I think it's great to be passionate about your team. In my mind it is totally different saying your team is great than being sommeone who always makes excuses for any loss his team has.

 

UK#1fan is actually pretty funny and he has never hid from here when his team lossees, I respect that.

I think it's funny people get worked up over ukfan. The man loves his team and won't back down and won't pick against them against anyone. I have yet to see any fan of any school pick against their school so in that aspect he's a lot like the rest of us. He just goes harder. I'm not saying he hasn't said some outlandish things but in my eyes he is no different than a lot of you.

 

I've also seen him come and eat his crow. Many times. Many many times. :lol:

SK goes 1-3 to finish the year...limping into the playoffs.
