I think it's hilarious how UK#1fan digs a deep hole in the yard,and covers it with a piece of green turf.

I enjoy it almost as much as He does when some posters try to walk across the turf and fall in every time...:lol:

Excuse me but in exactly what sports in Kentucky does everyone NOT make the "playoffs?" Districts, Regionals, Sectionals. Is football any different?

I don't have a problem with uk#1fan. He looks at Simon Kenton through the same rose colored glasses as BigGreenHorse looks at President Obama (for those who venture into the political forum). I think they both say what they say in order to stir people up, and do a good job of it. As for the game, it was obviously total domination by Scott County. Congratulation to them.

This was for JOLMSTED...Go watch the tape again and see if Scott Co had a first down in the first half. Then tell me they can play with them. They scored all but 14 points on the 2nd defense. The other two against the first was a return of one of HHS 6 kickoffs in the first half and the other was on a 10 yard pass to a guy that HHS didn't cover (complete blown coverage) and the kid ran 60+ yards untouched and not threatened. They also scored with under a minute left (on 3rd team def) to make it look even closer than it was. I will say SC could have improved since them but HHS absolutely dominated them! Again, not saying they aren't a great team and even better now, but to say you watched that game and can think anything other than they were beat bad makes me think you don't have a clue about football or you obviously have something against HHS.

I love how HHS blows out a big 6 A school and now its about turnovers and Scott Co. is a much improved team....come one man if they play again it would be worse. We know HHS is going to get 50 plus the question is how many the defense wants to allow.

 

...and its not like HHS hasn't improved since that game too!! Crazy haters! HHS had Elder on the ropes last week. So I guess SK can play with Elder and big Moe too!...even after a 50pt loss to a team HHS dominated.

Since you asked, yes football is quite different. It has six classes. None of the other sports have even close to that many classes to offer state championship chances.

 

Track and cross country have three I think. Volleyball, soccer, baseball and basketball have one. BIG DIFFERENCE.

I understood your post, and it wasn't disrespectful to SK, IMO. I was simply pointing out the obvious, in 6A every team makes the playoffs just by playing a schedule. Same is true in class A.

 

Kentucky doesn't have enough high schools to have a six class system. Proof positive of that is that they still have a one class system for all other team sports. That was my point.
