Bluto
A tip of the hat to San Francisco. (I think I just threw up a little bit in my mouth)
Voice of Reason
What a run by San Fran. They take three straight elimination games versus the Reds and then do the same thing to the Cards. I am thankful that I can now watch and enjoy the World Series.
HammerTime
I'm not gonna lie, it makes me feel better that the Cards choked that 3-1 lead away. Makes what happened to the Reds sting just slightly less.

Randy Parker
I love my guy Bluto, but I giggled like a schoolgirl when I found out the Cards lost.

MJAlltheWay24
Haven't paid attention to baseball sine the Reds lost, but I can't I'm upset by this.
Capernicus41
A tip of the hat to San Francisco. (I think I just threw up a little bit in my mouth) A tip of the cap indeed. They flat out just beat us those last few games. After the Pence dribbler, I knew it wasn't meant to be. I am a little sick when I think 3-1 lead, but still a good finish to a tough year. With the amount of young rookies that got a taste this year and played very well (Lynn, Kelly, Rosenthal, Miller, Carpenter) I'm really excited for the few years. Not to mention the hitting machine that is blowing through the minors, 20 year old stud Oscar Tavares. Anyway, pulling for the Giants now to keep it in the NL. bugatti
The whole Melky Cabrera thing is fascinating to me. Guy on the verge of winning an MVP, captures home field advantage for the NL during the All Star game, then gets busted for roids and is banished from the team. Shows that he is not a well respected teammate.
woodsrider
I hate the way they played the last 3 giving away a 3-1 lead but it could be worse, I could be a Reds fan.

I saw the highlights of that Pence ball. That is one of the weirdest plays I have ever seen in baseball. I am sure as you watch that you start to think it just isn't meant to be. Misery loves company so us Reds fans like that the Cards are now feeling our pain, but as much as I dislike the Cards (really, it is Carpenter that I dislike) I respect the organization. I have no clue why that team stopped hitting those last three games but that is just another of the quirks of baseball. It is without a doubt the most difficult of all the sports to predict. Congrats to the Cardinals on another great end of the season run.

Congrats to the Cardinals on another great end of the season run. I agree VOR. As a Reds fan, I dislike the Cards a lot less now that Tony Baseball is gone. I really respect the Cards organization and fans, both generally very classy. If Carp wasn't on the team, I think I would not dislike them at all.
