I hate the way they played the last 3 giving away a 3-1 lead but it could be worse, I could be a Reds fan.

 It is going to feel even worse next year finishing behind the Reds again. :D

St Louis lost the last 3 games of the series by a combined score of 20-1. That's a beat down.

Still mending my wounds. A tip of the hat to the Giants indeed but I can't complain, the Cards run this year and last was a awsome ride for any Cards fan and guys like you made it all the more fun so a big thanks

As long as they make the playoffs I couldn't care less. I think they've shown the last 2 years that you just have to get it then anything can happen.

Baseball's a weird game. Hitting is definitely contagious just like not hitting is. They scored 18 runs the first 4 games and 1 the last 3. Starting pitching didn't do them any favors either.

It's Matheny's fault.........

Should have started Joe Kelly 2 games instead of Carpenter. :D

Ouch, but true. Or worse, a Cubs fan.

Love it. I have to say, when I saw Matheny yanked Lohse in the third inning, I wondered how many posts a move like that by Dusty would have produced in a Reds thread.

Here is an incredible stat I heard this morning on Mike and Mike.

Scutaro swung at 39 pitches versus the Reds and made contact on every one.

Scutaro swung at 43 pitches versus the Cards and only missed twice.

82 pitches he swung at in those two series and only two misses.

I heard that too and it blew my mind. Dude just doesn't strike out. You make contact that much and good things will eventually happen. It will be interesting to watch he and Verlander battle.

Thank goodness the Cardinals got beat.

Trevor Rosenthal's final postseason stat line: 30 batters faced, 2 hits, 2 walks, 15 K's.

Easy to say now, but wish he was in with the bases loaded in the 3rd.

Being a Reds fan is a walk in the park. Try being a Bengals fan. :scared: :D
