SvFan4life
Say the Yankees ate $80-90 million of the contract to just get rid of him would you want your team to trade for him? If able to I would love for the Braves to trade for him.
All State Baseball
I would love for my Cubbies to trade for him but I don't see that happening, wishful thinking.
Blue Magic
I wouldn't take A-Rod unless my team was paying him no more than 7 or 8 mill a year. He's not worth much anymore. He's too injury prone and too average when he's healthy.

spindoc
IF the price was right, he'd hit 87 home runs in GASP.
plantmanky
If im a national league team I pass on him. AL Team, maybe, that way you can at least rotate him in at DH now and then.
HammerTime
I'd pass.
spindoc
If you could catch ARoid right, he could be your everyday 3B, and if the money was the same, you could have Frazier in LF. ARoid could use a change of scenery. If all things equal, and you could get him for 2 yrs at the same $ as Luddy, I'd take ARoid.
Big Slick
I'd take him for 5-7 million per year.

Capernicus41
I would go 5-8 mil on him. If I was in a place like Miami, where getting fans in the seats is a big priority, then I would push for him a little harder. Especially with the milestones he has coming up. It seems to me that the pitching as a whole is better in the AL. So I think if he came to the NL, you would see him start playing much better again. I know as Spindoc pointed out, I would love to have him if we could get him for the same money we would pay Ludwick. Then just move Frazier to left field. CincySportsFan
If, as the original post stated, the Yankees are going to eat $80-90 million to unload him, you know they are going to ask for something in return. And my guess, as a Reds fan, is that asking price would simply be too high. As a smaller market club, we have to develop a lot of our talent (as opposed to going out and buying it)...so, I wouldn't want to deplete our farm system to make that trade, even if the Yankees made the money-part manageable...because you know they're not going to be content with Rolen, Cairo and Valdez in return. Preachit
Would you trade Stubbs and Chapman for Arod, Gardner, and Swisher?
