VP Debate

Featured Replies

Wrong. CNN post-debate polling showed undecided women sided more with Ryan than VP Biden.

CNN has already admitted that their poll is slanted 8 points toward republicans.

Ryan was interrupted by Biden 82 times in a 90 minute debate..

Saw something that said Biden spoke for 41 minutes and Ryan spoke for 40.

Biden interrupts or goes over him time = rude and disrespectful.

Romney steam rolls the moderator, interrupts, and goes over his time = brilliant and assertive.

The double standards I see on here regarding politics is hysterical.

I've told many of my Republican friends that I cannot believe how much their party has fallen off since 2008. I GUARANTEE YOU that if McCain was running right now he would win and it would not even be that close. The disparity between Romney and McCain is great IMO. At least McCain could appeal to both sides of the aisle.

Both interrupted in their debates, that looked rude for both of them. Biden, however, came off as crass and disrespectful. Romney didn't come off that way in his debate.

McCain would lose.

In your opinion. You left that part out. :D

Well, isn't most of what we say on here our opinion? :p

Which part was more bothersome, Biden/Romney or McCain?

Biden/Romney.

Interesting tidbit, Tom Brokaw had some problems with Biden’s behavior during one particular issue:

"I just don’t think you should be laughing during a discussion about thermonuclear war with Iran. … It’s a very serious issue and however amused you are, it’s about tone as well as content. … It wasn’t about being overbearing. I thought that, in terms of content, he was very effective on Iran. It was the demeanor that he showed, and these are always a combination of the two. People are impressionistic when they look at these debates, and I don’t know how this is going to play out eventually, but sometimes you have to dial that down."

At least there was no need for police to get between the two as happened in a CA congressional debate last night.

JER'RY, JER'RY, JER'RY

Biden/Romney.
You think Romney was crass or Biden wasn't? For me, it was an obvious difference in demeanor and it made Biden look bad.
Good. Maybe they can get her to moderate the next one when Obama needs some help.

If Martha had done the Denver debate, wouldn't that have made her the 2nd debater?? :D
