VP Debate

Featured Replies

You think Romney was crass or Biden wasn't? For me, it was an obvious difference in demeanor and it made Biden look bad.

I think they were both crass. I think they were both aggressive. I think they both won. I just can't understand why it is cool for Romney and shameful for Biden. Well, I know why.....

Biden interrupts or goes over him time = rude and disrespectful.

Romney steam rolls the moderator, interrupts, and goes over his time = brilliant and assertive.

[/b]The double standards I see on here regarding politics is hysterical.

I've told many of my Republican friends that I cannot believe how much their party has fallen off since 2008. I GUARANTEE YOU that if McCain was running right now he would win and it would not even be that close. The disparity between Romney and McCain is great IMO. At least McCain could appeal to both sides of the aisle.

You didn't see a difference in how Romney and Biden acted?

As with the first debate, the side that is complaining about interrupting, time, the moderator, facial expressions etc is the side who's guy lost.

I'll ask you the same question. Did you see a difference in how Biden and Romney acted during their respective debates?

I'm sorry but I don't remember anyone complaining about Romney's facial expressions, I don't recall anyone complaining about Romney interrupting instead they complained about Obama just standing there, and I don't see anyone saying that Biden cleaned Ryan's clock like Romney did Obama's.

Sorry, but not by a long shot was it equal. I also know why you WANT to think Romney acted as badly, but it simply isn't the fact. :p

This debate was close, edge going to Biden, IMO.

The presidential debate wasn't close at all.

Ryan back-peddled from the stimulus statement like he was trying to cover Calvin Johnson. Also, the last question asked, something like "what would you bring to the White House if elected?" And Ryan says HONESTY?! Seriously?! That's the first thing that can come into your mind is honesty, face palm. I think Biden, from what I saw, did a good job picking apart some of the holes in the Romney/Ryan plan. I will probably google the debate here in a bit to view the whole thing.

With all that being said, whoever wins I will support and hope they do their best for our country. Over the last four years I have been beyond disgusted with some people and how/what they have said about Obama. Hell, I've heard several say they hoped he would get shot because the nation would be better off. 2009, McConnell wanting to make Obama a one-term president. I'm sure wanting to make the President fail would sure improve America :idunno: People need to sack up and stop whining like a bunch of women. Your life will not get any better if sit around and complain 24/7 about who is sitting in office and scrutinize every move they make while there.

I watched baseball both nights.

One of the big questions in my mind is the Romney/Ryan proposal to drop rates by 20% across the board and using the closing of tax loopholes to pay for it. I get it in concept but the details are missing. In both debates it's been said that there are six studies to support it yet I can't find them.

Anyone have links to those?

The Final Word on Mitt Romney's Tax Plan - Bloomberg

Apparently a lot of women find Ryan very attractive. Must be the P90X and sub 3 hour marathon time..

Then what about Gary Johnson and his sub 11-hour Kona IM time? :D

I saw tons of people complaining about Romney's behavior and tons of people loving it. Last night those people switched opinions.

This debate was close, edge going to Biden, IMO.

Thank you for admitting Biden won. That wasn't hard now was it? :D
