How does he come up with his ratings?

I don't think he counts wins and losses.

How does he come up with his ratings?

I was told its a computer ranking.

How does he come up with his ratings?

Apparently by throwing darts at the board.

I agree, some of those rankings look off to me.:D
How does he come up with his ratings?

I thought it had to do with a monkey and throwing dung? :idunno:

How does he come up with his ratings?

Magic number assigned to each team and then an algorithm taking into account all the final scores.

I don't think he counts wins and losses.

Probably not because if he did SK would be #1 right?

Well, then whats BGP's take on the top 20 or 25 teams in the state? It doesn't look too bad to me but I'm not well versed on all the teams in the state as I would guess most that are commenting on this. I do know May field and they are ranked #10 or really #11 because Trinity isnt ranked But are they better than say Boyle Co at #16? I have no idea. I'd say they would give them a very good game as I think they would give Covington Cath a decent game at #4. I believe after the 1st 5 teams it's very speculative.

The beauty of these type cpu rankings is late in the year after they have alot more data. They get more accurate as the season goes on and by the end are usually pretty accurate after the effects of the starting point magic number wears off

That is what everyone says about these wild polls, but aren't all rankings more accurate after the people making the rankings have more wins and losses to consider?

John Hardin should be A LOT higher.

I assume only beating Iroquois 48-0 hurt the ranking, stinks computer rankings want folks to run up the score.

Trinity is not rated since it has not yet played a Kentucky team???

Leaving Trinity out of the #1 spot calls into the question the poll's credability.
